Katerina, 24 years old
- Procedure
Secondary rhinoplasty, July 2013
I am in charge of a development department in real estate sub-sale. Specifically, I work with new partners. I meet top executives of various companies, deliver presentations, and establish connections. I also conduct events, such as training, presentations, or lectures, for our partners where I deal with audiences of 10 to 90 strangers. Sometimes I go on business trips. I love my job, it is very interesting.
I love theatre, emotions expressed by actors, stage performance. This is probably rooted in my childhood when my extracurricular activities included theatre and dance, and summer camps involved various events. I like to read and draw. Travel, obviously. Every day spent in an unfamiliar place is worth ten days of routine. Guess what I like most about travel? No, it’s neither the sea nor museums. I love airports. They have special energy. They witness many tears of sorrow and sincere joy.
What did you dislike about yourself before rhinoplasty?
I had a giant nose which had been operated twice, both times unsuccessfully. I didn’t like the way I looked, I was self-conscious, kept a grudge against the doctors, and I was losing hope. I stayed afloat thanks to my parents and my inner core.
Did you have any doubts or fears about your surgery?
I was very afraid because it was my third operation. It was psychologically a very difficult decision: what if this one failed, too? What if I just wasn’t destined to do it?
How was your surgery and rehabilitation?
Judging by my sensations, the operation took about five seconds. My rehabilitation was also smooth (I was already used to those). The only person who experienced any difficulties was the nurse at the clinic. As soon as I woke up, she put an alarm button in my hand, and I pressed it every minute. I thought more time had passed.
What changes have you noticed in your worldview?
I love myself even more! I know my nose looks good on me. It is not tiny like a button, but I was told from the start that considering my history, that would be impossible. But I love it. I have become more confident. Confidence means a lot in my work.
I am from Khabarovsk, but after the operation, I decided to stay in St. Petersburg. I returned my ticket and didn’t go back. In my opinion it was fate, something that was meant to happen. A major turn-around in my life, and I am thrilled!
About the surgeon
Dr Vitaly Zholtikov has magic hands, a strong character, and an unusual sense of humour. I’d known about him since I was 16 (I had my surgery at 21). When I came here for a consultation, I was so nervous, as if I’d met a pop star. I was not disappointed. It was a pleasure to meet him. Looking forward to seeing him again.
About Atribeaute Clinique
The clinic is very clean, modern, and pleasant. There are always many people there. I know that the doctors there are the city’s best (possibly the country’s best, correct me if I’m wrong). The ladies are always welcoming, the service is great. There are various promotions, an online forum, video testimonials, visiting celebrities, magazine publications. It is nice to know that you are also part of that bright beautiful world.
I would like a revision. Unfortunately, three years have passed but I still can’t breathe normally. I’ll take care of it this year. Thank you for everything you do. The way you are progressing looks very promising!
